Jennifer Medna

Jennifer Medna is Associate Underwriter, Major Accounts Marine at Chubb, where she works with meeting the risk management needs of large U.S. and Canadian-based companies that require tailored innovative coverage solutions. She started her professional journey interning in the Treaty Claims department of SCOR RE before completing her Bachelor of Science in Risk Management & Insurance at St. John’s University. In 2020, Jennifer participated in Munich RE’s Summer Leadership Development Program as an intern on the Data Hunting team. In this role, she discovered her passion for business analytics and underwriting. The following year, Jennifer continued her education by completing an MBA with a concertation in Business Analytics at St. John’s. Throughout her experiences, she saw a lack of groups geared to bringing young and diverse talent exposure and opportunities to advance in the insurance industry. This gap fueled Jennifer’s passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion. She plans to make an impactful change in this area in the insurance industry.
