Penny Lewis

Penelopy (“Penny”) Lewis is a powerhouse in her own right.  She started in the Insurance industry over 30 years ago and has seen the evolution of diversity, equity and inclusion.  She is passionate about bringing change to the (Re)Insurance industry.  When the opportunity was presented to her to be part of MRIA as an Executive Director, she was excited and ready to be part of the change. 

Penny began her career in the mailroom then moving into the world of Claims as a Claims Assistant.  She eventually landed a role in which she remains and that is being the “gatekeeper” or as we know it, an executive assistant for C-suite level executives.  She is currently the EA for Arch’s Chief Claims Officer.  She is known as the “go to” person and the person who knows the ins and outs from all levels of a company.  It's her power of connection and helping others that makes her successful in her role internally and externally. 

She is a native of St. Kitts and travels back there frequently to visit family and continue her path of helping others.  She is a proud mother of two; her son, Daniel Lewis works in Facilities Management and her daughter, Damaris Lewis is a model and actor that has been featured in Sports Illustrated and movies such as BlacKkKlansman and DC Titans.  Damaris also worked as a dancer and muse for the beloved Prince.
