Rachel Lopez

Rachel Lopez is a founding partner and Senior Managing Director of Wirksam Consulting LLC. Ms. Lopez created Wirksam Consulting with Alex Unterkoefler to help clients successfully produce desired results and outcomes efficiently. She has over 20 years of experience in the insurance, reinsurance, non-profit and business consulting industries. Her experience spans from United States and International projects including mergers & acquisitions (M&A), global services operations, project and client management, IT enterprise systems & integration services, Internal Audit, Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance, accounting and audit extensive consulting solutions, accounting process initiatives, reinsurance process remediation, finance transformation and finance operational improvement.   

From 2018 to 2020, Ms. Lopez led the international management office and workstreams for international mergers and acquisition for a publicly traded company in the United Kingdom. Concurrently, she was part of the Brexit initiative, Part VII transfer and managed a team of 130 professionals for a Captive Service responsible for cross-functional management, complex process reconciliation projects to align business strategies of the parent organization.   

Ms. Lopez received her Master of Liberal Arts from the University of Pennsylvania and her Business Science in Accounting from La Salle University.
